Flights to Istanbul

It is easy to get to Istanbul, as there are direct flights from most major cities in Europe to Istanbul's two international airports. These are Atatürk (IST) and Sabiha Gökçen (SAW), and located in the European and Asian parts of the city, respectively. Atatürk is the main airport of the city, and located on the European side about 24 kilometers from the city center. While this is one of Europe's most busy airports, Sabiha Gökçen was build to relieve Atatürk. Both airports are well-connected with the city via public transport, and it is possible to get to the center with, among others, metro, bus, and ferry
